Contribution Rules and Regulations
- The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) of California requires us to obtain your occupation and employer before we deposit your contribution. All donations of $100 or more are required to be reported to the State of California/City of West Covina on Form 460. These forms are available for public review at the City Clerks office of the City of West Covina.
- All contributions to a City of West Covina candidate are limited to $500 from individuals, businesses and Political Action Committees in any calendar year.
- The City of West Covina restricts contributions from businesses or companies that have an existing city contract. Those businesses or companies that possibly contribute to this campaign and are found to be in violation of this restriction will be refunded the contribution. - Contributions are not tax deductible.
